ASMR: Pet Treatment is an educational makeover game that explores health and beauty treatments designed for pets. The player must pretend that they're a pet owner who has brought their puppy and kitten to a clinic that has a calm, relaxing environment. Additionally, they must pretend that they're aiding the specialist with providing services.
Each part of the game focuses on different methods of treatment. For example, the specialist recommends cleaning the puppy before dealing with more serious problems. The player removes fleas and other types of bugs from its fur using a pair of tweezers, cut and file down its long nails, and apply moisturizers and other creams to its paws.
The player then provides more complicated healthcare services, such as cleaning the puppy's ears, addressing oral hygiene problems, and dealing with the cause or symptoms of an illness. These methods usually include fantasy solutions, such as giving the pet a facial with a mask and cucumber slices and tapping animated bugs or germs to pop them like balloons.
Lastly, ASMR: Pet Treatment gives the player the opportunity to dress up their pets with different fashions and accessories. The player can select hats, eyewear, neckwear, clothing tops and bottoms, decorative items and toys. They must watch ad videos to access some items. If desired, they can use a fashion generator button in the lower-right corner to create a random look.
